As thousands of school leavers enter the last week of Schoolies, social media continues to highlight the best and worst moments from this year's celebrations.
And while getting a tattoo is seen by some as a rite of passage into adulthood, many Schoolies were spotted with rather questionable inkings.

The bird has found an unlikely friend in Schoolies getting their first tattoo, artist Luke Braniff said.
'We did about six ibis tattoos doing different poses like smoking, eating or drinking,' Mr Braniff told the Gold Coast Bulletin.
'The Ibis has really taken off.'
