Vanfest music festival cancelled due to wild weather

The annual Vanfest music festival in the New South Wales Central West has been cancelled, after wild weather from Victoria flooded the camping grounds.

Vanfest organisers released a statement on Saturday afternoon confirming the two-day festival would have to be cut short.

'It saddens us to confirm that due to current and forecasted weather conditions, and in the interest of the safety of our patrons and staff, we have made the decision to cancel the remainder of Vanfest 2017,' officials wrote on Facebook.
