Poignant moment London saw in 2018 with Ariana Grande song

During an incredible fireworks display to usher in 2018, there was a poignant moment paying tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Ariana Grande's hit 'One Last Time' was played during the 12-minute display in a poignant tribute to the victims of the May 22 attack.

Heart-wrenching footage of the 24-year-old singer performing the ballad in the closing moments of the concert circulated in the days after the attack.  

It was filmed moments before Salman Abedi detonated a bomb which injured more than 100 and killed 22.

The youngest victim was an eight-year-old girl.

In July, Manchester officials said they are making an honorary citizen of the city because of her response to the deadly attack.

City council leader Richard Leese proposed the move, describing the singer as 'a young American woman for whom it would have been understandable if she never wanted to
