Kimmel mock falsely claiming 'safest year on record'

Jimmy Kimmel kicked off his first show of 2018 by mocking President 's latest tweets, including the bizarre post in which he took credit for airplane travel safety.

The President tweeted on Monday that since he took office, and having been very strict on commercial aviation, it had been the 'the best and safest year on record'.

However, as Kimmel pointed out on his show, while there were no deaths on commercial flights in 2017, it was hardly the 'safest on record' as the President claimed.
