Eagles QB Carson Wentz defends Twitter hunting dog photos

American football quarterback Carson Wentz has defended a picture he posted on Twitter in which he wised his dog a happy birthday alongside a photo of it alongside some dead geese.

The tweet was accompanied by two photos: one of the dog standing over the dead geese after a hunt and another of it as a puppy.

But at least one Twitter user commented that people could be offended that a man of his stature should controversially post a picture of dead game.
