Two pilots in a relationship violently clashed inside the cockpit of a flight from London to Mumbai, leaving the controls unattended.
The pair, who argued on a New Year's day flight carrying 324 passengers, have been grounded pending further investigations, Indian media has reported.
The commander allegedly slapped his female counterpart who left the cockpit in tears in the middle of the flight, news outlets said.
At one point the cockpit was left unattended as he pursued her.

The pair involved in the disagreement are not thought to be married but were in a relationship.
The female co-pilot was persuaded to go back into the cockpit to resume her duties, The Times of India reported, but again left the flight deck in a distressed state soon afterwards.
