Police breath-test helicopter pilot in Townsville floods

A helicopter pilot has been subjected to a random breath-test on the side of the road, after landing to deliver supplies to residents trapped by flooding.

The pilot landed near Alambie Lane at Gumlow, Townsville, in Queensland's north, to deliver much needed supplies this week.

When he landed on the road, police officers decided to breath-test the pilot, as part of their 'anyone, anytime' policy.
