Serial Killer Levi Bellfield has launched an extraordinary rant against John Worboys after the black cab rapist convinced him of his innocence.

Bellfield had been acting as legal counsel for Worboys while in prison - and helped him win his legal bid for parole.

But the triple murderer said he was made to feel a 'mug' by the sex fiend who persuaded him that he had not committed the multiple rapes he was convicted of.

Bellfield, 46, also lashed out at fellow lifer Charles Bronson, who he called a 'horrible, short, little fat thing' in a letter to a friend from prison.

The former pub doorman also hit back his former girlfriend's 'nonsense' claims he raped a disabled girl over the bonnet of a car.

He was watching on television in jail as his ex Johanna Collings appeared on ITV's Loose Women to say she blamed herself for not reporting him sooner.

But Bellfield said: 'She's referring to Rocky's Nightclub in Cobham.

'You can't rape a disabled girl in a car park of a nightclub, where you work and seriously expect to get away with that.

'There is no victim. I've never been arrested about that. I've never been spoken to about that. It's complete and utter nonsense.'

Three years later he was convicted of killing schoolgirl Milly Dowler, 13, who was abducted on her way home from school in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey in 2002.

He was in a relationship with Ms Collings for about a year before they split in 1996.
