Crossing guard charged with selling marijuana while on the job

Kathryn Miller was arrested on Tuesday near Selinsgrove Area High School The 31-year-old worked as a crossing guard since 2012 and has been suspended Police say she saw marijuana to an informant four times last month, including twice while at her job  Selinsgrove Area Superintendent Chad Cohrs says all employees have to pass a background check before being hired.

A Pennsylvania school crossing guard has been charged with selling marijuana while on the job.

Kathryn Miller, 31, was arrested on Tuesday morning at her post at the intersection of Broad and Spruce Streets near Selinsgrove Area High School.

Police say she sold marijuana to an informant
