The girlfriend of a man accused of killing two teens and dumping their bodies in an abandoned mine has been charged with lying to investigators.

Morgan Reannon Henderson, 34, was booked on a felony obstruction of justice charge on Saturday in Utah, in connection with the murders of Breezy Otteson, 17, and Riley Powell, 18.

Henderson's boyfriend Jerrod William Baum, 41, was arrested for the murders on Wednesday, hours after police recovered the bodies on a shallow ledge inside a deep mine shaft near Eureka, about 75 miles south of Salt Lake City.

The teens went missing on December 29, and Henderson initially told police that they had left her house after smoking pot with her that day, and she had no idea what happened to them.

But after Henderson was pulled over last weekend in an unrelated traffic stop and cops found an axe, a rifle and knives in her car, the rest of the story came out.

Henderson was present when Baum killed the young couple and pushed their bodies into the abandoned Tintic Standard #2 Mine, police said.

Baum had warned her about having male friends at the house and flew into a rage when he learned she'd been hanging out with Riley and Breezy, saying 'it was too bad because he has never killed an innocent before,' Henderson told authorities, according to police documents.
