A woman was raced to hospital with serious head and arm injuries after leaping from the top floor of a blazing building to escape an inferno swallowing her studio.
Emergency services were called to an old factory in St Kilda, Melbourne, following reports of a building fire just after 7.30am on Friday.
Paramedics took the woman, in her 20s, to the Alfred Hospital in a stable condition with injuries to her arms, legs and head, according to Ambulance Victoria.
