An entire country town has been told not to eat eggs, milk and meat because they could be contaminated with toxic chemicals. 

Residents in the Hunter Valley, in New South Wales, have been warned of consuming food or drinks near to Stoney Creek and Swamp Creek as the products may have been contaminated with toxins. 

It comes after PFAs from a derelict industrial site in Rutherford may have made its way into nearby creeks.

Residents have been advised to avoid waterways and drinking water from Stoney Creek and Swamp Creek
