Revellers made the most of the hot weather this weekend by partying until the sun came up in Manchester and Blackpool.

Taking to the streets, partygoers were seen rocking fancy dress costumes as they made their way home from clubs and bars.

For one woman who managed to party all night the walk home proved too much, instead catching a piggy back from an obliging friend.

Plenty of Brits threw caution to the wind as they walked barefoot with their heels in their hands.

Others seemed to be letting the hot weather get to their heads, openly arguing in the streets outside bars and clubs.

The hot weather is set to continue, with temperatures hitting 29C (84F) later today.
