Retired nurse launches Britain's first hospice for dogs

A retired nurse has launched Britain's first hospice for dogs giving them bucket list treats of steak dinners, trips to the beach and even a McDonald's before they are put down.

Kind-hearted Nicola Coyle, 46, set up Grey Muzzle Canine Hospice Project after witnessing the heartbreak of dogs dumped by their owners.

The mother of two takes in hounds who face being put down or are terminally ill with less than six months left to live.
