Man, 32, crushed to death after drunk driver slams into wall

An unidentified man died on Saturday evening after he was crushed by a van The drunken crash took place outside an electrical company in Brooklyn The suspect, who was drinking before he hopped a curbed and slammed into a wall, fled the scene afterward Police said the victim died in the hospital. An arrest was not immediately made

A pedestrian was crushed to death outside a Brooklyn warehouse Saturday evening when a drunk driver slammed a work van into a wall.

Police have not released the named of the 32-year-old victim or the driver who fled the scene of the deadly accident that took place in South Park Slope shortly after 8pm.

According to the New York Daily News, the driver of the van had been boozing it up with co-workers at the Inner-City Electrical Contractors, where he works, beforehand.
