A 17-year-old is dead after losing control of his vehicle and ending up in a river.

MONTREAL — A 17-year-old died Sunday after losing control of his vehicle just before 3 p.m. in St-Marc-des-Carrières, near Quebec City.
According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the victim lost control on a curve and ended up in a river.
He was found unconscious in his vehicle which was upside down in the water.
Speed and inexperience may have caused the accident, according to the SQ.
The teen was from Deschambault-Grondines. He was declared dead in hospital.
