Main-stay judge Simon Cowell has welcomed Robbie Williams, Ayda Field, and Louis Tomlinson onto The X Factor this year.
It’s the first time for all three of them on the ITV show and tonight saw viewers finally get a glimpse of the newcomers in action.
However, they received a mixed reception as viewers just couldn’t agree on what they thought of them.
Some of those watching at home really weren’t feeling the shake-up, and took to Twitter to comment.
“#XFactor this new panel just doesn't work! It's so forced. And we get it Robbie and Ayda, you're married! Give it a break,” one vented.
While another stated: “There’s no chemistry between the judges #XFactor.”
“Oh dear... what is happening. Such a dull line up of judges.. and the music has been dire so far.. bring back Sharon and Louis W #xfactor,” a third declared.
“Unsure who the female judge is and the 1D guy looks about 12 weird panel... #xfactor,”(sic) a fourth observed.
However, others thought the fresh new line-up was a welcome change and shared their feelings on the social network.
“Unpopular opinion reading through other people's comments but Robbie was made for this and Louis is a complete personality vacuum. Ayda can at least hold her own and is completely bearable #XFactor,” one fan insisted.
