He’s evidently not willing to see her as an acceptable replacement for Sam, and he didn’t hold back.

Upon hearing the news that he’d be keeping his job, Ruby said to Iain: “We’re still a team then?”

But frosty Iain hit back: “We? Me and you are not ‘we’.”

Those watching at home were furious with Iain’s challenging behaviour and took to Twitter to comment.

“Unnecessarily cruel, Iain. What did Ruby ever do to you? #Casualty,” one fan questioned.

“Wait a minute hold up... what did Ruby even do? She’s done nothing wrong?! #Casualty,” another added.
