#GreatBritishBakeOff 2018: What are the bakers making next week? #GBBO

Tonight’s episode of The Great British Bake Off was followed by a promo that revealed week seven will be the show’s first ever Vegan Week.

The next episode of Bake Off will air Tuesday, October 9 at 8pm on Channel 4.

It will see the remaining six bakers doing without eggs, butter, or any other animal products.

Here’s what the bakers will be facing in next week’s Signature, Technical and Showstopper Challenges.

What are the bakers making in Bake Off week 7?

The official synopsis for the episode reads: “For the very first time on the show, Vegan Week takes place.

“Judges Prue Leith and Paul have set three very different challenges to test the remaining bakers - a savoury pastry Signature, with no butter involved, a Technical with a very unusual ingredient and a spectacular Showstopper that in the heat of the tent threatens to lead to catastrophe.

“Who will keep their cool and win star baker? And who will be meeting their end?”

Vegan Week was one of the first series of challenges revealed before this season of Bake Off had even aired.

Paul said of the new week: “Veganism is something that seems to be growing. That’s why it is in.”
