Kate Middleton was back at her best yesterday when she had her first public engagement since the birth of her youngest child Prince Louis in April.
The Duchess of Cambridge attended St. Stephen’s School in London and met a number of children.
Kate got hands on with the primary children, searching for small animals in the school garden.
She revealed she, Prince George and Princess Charlotte enjoy an activity some might find rather strange.
People reported interim Head of Sayers Croft Forest School Zoe Stroud said: “(Kate) really gets what we are doing here and said she often takes her children on spider hunts in their garden, which they love.”
Spider hunting sounds like a nightmare for many Britons.
Arachnophobia, a fear of spiders, is one of the world’s most common phobias.
Kate also got hands on with the creepy crawlies at the London school yesterday, although she did not catch any eight-legged critters.
The head said: “(Kate) was lovely — although she said the only mini beast she managed to find on the hunt was a slug!
“But she did see a frog under a log.”

She wore a well-loved piece of her’s, the Penelope Chilvers boots.

However, the pricey look did not compare to her Meghan’s most recent outfit.
