The Walking Dead season nine will feature the exit of one of its most iconic characters, Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln).
Fans of the show are both excited to see how Rick will exit the show, but they’re also very much worried about it.
There’s a sense of anxiety about saying goodbye to the Sheriff who’s played such an important part in the show for so many years.
Andrew has been discussing the upcoming season and revealed that he thinks the storyline is “unbelievable”.
“The Walking Dead has been so much a part of my life. I’ve breathed it for ten years,” he told TV & Satellite Week.
“I still regret that the story broke, because I believe the new season would have been even greater if it wasn’t spoiled to a degree.”
However, even though his exit will be the most anticipated event in the upcoming season, the British actor doesn’t want it to overshadow the rest of the cast and crew’s incredible work.
“What we have in store this season is truly remarkable, and I’m very proud of the work that we’ve done,” he said.
“This has always been an ensemble, and it will continue to be an ensemble. No one is bigger than the story, and the story this year is unbelievable,” he finished.
