Stomach bloating has affected most people at some point in their life, according to the NHS.
The condition is usually caused by eating too much food in one go, or by eating certain foods.
You could be feeling bloated if your stomach feels swollen and overly full.
But you could get rid of painful trapped wind by drinking ginger tea, it’s been claimed.

Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that can help to release trapped wind, and reduce stomach bloating, claimed nutritionist Dr Kellyann Petrucci.
It works by relieving muscle tension in the gut, and relieving constipation pain, she said.
One of the best ways to add ginger to your diet is to drink it as a tea.
“When you’re bloated, it’s important to focus on foods that are easy to digest as well as hydrating,” said Petrucci.
“Certain foods and herbs can actually help de-bloat your belly quick. Items that you most likely already have in your kitchen or are super easy to find in any grocery store.
“Ginger has a long history of being used as a digestive aid. The phenolic compounds in ginger stimulate the production of digestive enzymes.
