Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory that can help to release trapped wind, and reduce stomach bloating, claimed nutritionist Dr Kellyann Petrucci.

It works by relieving muscle tension in the gut, and relieving constipation pain, she said.

One of the best ways to add ginger to your diet is to drink it as a tea.
