Carol Kirkwood found herself temporarily out of a job after it was BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker who was being asked for an up-to-date weather forecast.

Carol then sent a jokey response back to him and her 145,000 followers: “I am shaking in my (very wet) shoes!xxx.”
