Melania delights fans as the First Lady unveils a BIG ‘surprise’ at ...

Melania took to Instagram and Twitter this week, as she gave her 2.3 million Instagram followers a glimpse at how she’d spent her day.

Explaining to fans it was World Kindness Day, the 48-year-old revealed she had decided to take some time to pay a thoughtful gesture.

In honour of the special day, the First Lady to the President Donald , 72, chose to greet some visitors to the White House.

It’s thought that the guests may have been taking a tour of the incredible building, when Melania made her appearance.

In a series of snaps posted on her verified Instagram account, Melania could be seen grinning as she shook a woman’s hand.

The former model sported a sophisticated navy dress, which featured a loose cut but cinched at her waist.

She wore her highlighted tresses in loose curls, letting her hair cascade around her shoulders.

Melania teamed the mid-length number with a pair of blue pointed high heels.

In another photo, a group of visitors could be seen smiling at the First Lady, who was cordoned off from the group via a rope barrier.

More photos saw Melania grinning as she met with some children.

In another photo, she could be seen smiling in-between two fans, while another person took a photo on a smart phone.

Beside the capture, the First Lady wrote: “On this #WorldKindnessDay I had fun surprising visitors to the @WhiteHouse!

“Thank you to all who come through and visit this magnificent home. #BeBest.”

Fans rushed to comment on the capture, with one person swooning: “You r so gracious!!!”(sic)
