Red Dead Redemption 2 Online beta is launching this week with Rockstar Games opting for a staggered launch on PS4 and Xbox One.
Those who purchased the ultimate edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 yesterday became the first to be able to play Red Dead Online.
While today those who purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 over its first weekend got access to Red Dead Online.
On Friday all Red Dead Redemption 2 players will have access to the online beta.
As players have started to log into Red Dead Online more and more details have emerged about the mode thanks to the beta test.
Interestingly, Red Dead Online players have noticed a gold bars currency appearing in certain menu screens.
And these gold bars can either by earned through grinding or purchasing via a microtransaction system for RDR2 Online - with the latter currently not live yet.
