The X Factor champion, 24, first found fame after he won a talent show in his home country of Jamaica aged 16, long before he auditioned for the UK series. Four years after he won the Digital Rising Stars, Dalton spoke out, claiming a woman was threatening to release images of him of a “certain nature”. “I’m very private when it comes to my relationship and things like that,” he told Jamaican publication The Weekend Star. “I’m very sensitive about it.”
Dalton said he had been in a relationship with the woman in question for three years before they split.
The X Factor winner said he didn’t want fans to “categorise him as a waste youth” and that he wanted them to hear the news from him first.
He also took to Facebook to warn fans of the existence of intimate pictures and footage of him which might be made public.
The singer, aged 20 at the time, wrote: “I live a clean life free of the f***ery and wickedheartedness.
“Sorry for the word there but if I am in a relationship with a girl for three years and we have WhatsApp and s*** like that obviously I will send my GIRLFRIEND pictures of a certain nature.
“It is sad, however, that after a break-up
