Bernadette (played by Clair Norris) has been struggling with her feelings for best friend Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) on EastEnders, with the teen getting noticeably jealous of Tiffany’s bond with drug dealer Evie Steele (Sophia Capasso).

As the two had a heart-to-heart in last night’s episode, Bernadette finally succumbed to her feelings and realised she was in fact in love with Tiffany.

Although she was anxious about Karen’s (Lorraine Stanley) reaction, Bernadette need not have worried as her mother took her daughter in her arms on the BBC soap.
