#StrangerThings Season 3 Release date REVEALED - when does the # drama ...

Stranger Things last aired on Netflix over a year ago and fans of the hit show have been anxiously waiting to hear when they can get their next dose of the mysterious drama featuring character such as Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Will (Noah Schnapp).

In a surprise announcement, the official Twitter page for the show dropped an almost four minute long teaser trailer just after the world saw in the New Year.

Paying homage to the New Year celebrations, the majority of the teaser plays out footage of A Hawkins New Year’s Eve from Las Vegas, with the countdown rolling to 1985.

However, towards the end of the trailer, the iconic logo is shown along with the return date, revealed to be July 4 2019.

This means fans will have to wait over six months before they see the return of Eleven, Mike, Will and the rest of the gang including Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink).

However, the trailer wasn’t the only glimpse of season three fans were treated to as a new poster for the upcoming episodes was also unveiled.

The image shows the friends watching the Independence Day fireworks, but not everyone seems optimistic about the future.

“One summer can change everything,” is seen at the top of the image, a tagline which is also revealed to viewers in the trailer before the release date
