The Walking Dead lost one of its main characters last year.
Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) departed the hit AMC show and will soon star in a spin-off series.
Fans were devastated to see the back of the beloved character, and some even doubted it would be able to continue without Andrew.
However, The Walking Dead was left in safe hands with Norman Reedus - who plays Daryl Dixon - as the new lead character.
Now it seems the show will run and run, according to a boss of AMC.
The programming president of the broadcaster recently confirmed the news to IndieWire, before the first half of season nine launched.
