Could Chrissie Watts return to #EastEnders? Tracy Ann Oberman speaks out

Chrissie (played by Tracy Ann Oberman) was part of a thrilling murder storyline when she killed Dirty Den Watts (Leslie Grantham) with a doorstop.

Now, Tracy has revealed whether or not she would come back to the BBC soap.

The former EastEnders actress appeared on Good Morning Britain where Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins asked her about a possible return.

She teased: “Never say never, when that phonecall comes…”

Tracy also went on to say how Chrissie was still behind bars for her crimes.

“She’s done longer than most actual murderers, it’s a shame,” she added.

The ITV hosts also probed Tracy on what it was like to still be getting messages from fans over a decade after her departure.

She said: “I think it’s humbling, EastEnders is an incredible experience and to be part of this iconic show and also to have been part of murdering Dirty Den, I take it as a compliment.

“She was a beautifully written character.”
