Police appeal for information on horror NYE bouncer stabbing by mob

The bouncer was stabbed to death outside a private £12.5million townhouse in the upmarket area of Mayfair, Westminster, in the early hours of New Year’s Day. Police were called to the property at 5.36am on January 1. The man, believed to be in his early 30s, was working as a security guard for the private party and was found with multiple stab wounds.

The man suffered his injuries after a group of men attempted to gain entry to the premises.

But after paramedics and officers responded to his injuries, he was pronounced dead at 6.05am

Two other men - aged 37 and 29 - and a 29-year-old woman were also stabbed in the attack.

The three men were all working as security staff on the door of the private party.

Police said the woman was attacked as helped security staff close the front door of the property.
