The latest James Bond film hasn’t been short of a few production problems. Originally Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have written every 007 movie since 1999’s The World Is Not Enough, penned a Bond 25 script. But when producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson went with Danny Boyle as director, they also took on his Trainspotting scribe John Hodge. However, the pair left Bond 25 over creative differences, with Cary Fukunaga being hired to direct instead.
So just what’s going on with Bond 25 storyline now?
Well, originally it was rumoured that the Purvis and Wade script was something of an On Her Majesty’s Secret Service remake called Shatterhand.
This would suggest the return of Christoph Waltz’s Blofeld, and Bond getting married before his wife is suddenly murdered.
With the news of Lea Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann returning after she and Bond drove off into the sunset in Spectre, perhaps this is her fate?
