Fallout 76 players on PS4, Xbox One and PC will soon be getting the first update of 2019.

Fallout 76 has had a tough few months since it launched back in November.

Negative reviews greeted the Bethesda online RPG upon release while there was fan backlash about the bag that came with the special Power Armour edition.

And with a new year being a chance for turning over a new leaf, fans may have hoped 2019 would mark the beginning of a fresh start for Fallout 76.

However, the new year has begun with another blow for Fallout 76.

On New Year’s Day reports started coming in that nukes in Fallout 76 had been disabled.

Fans of the PS4, Xbox One and PC game reported that nuclear missile codes in Fallout 76 were no longer working and new codes were unavailable.

According to players, the nukes in Fallout 76 were working fine until December 31 - but on January 1 that all changed.

In a thread on Reddit about the issue one Fallout 76 fan wrote: “Y2K bug just hit the Nuke Code Date Generator.

“At least one system is affected finally.”

While another posted: “Figures I finally got around to doing the actually sorry quests and planned on dropping my first nuke today.”
