Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh are gracing screens in a four-part new series called Breaking Dad, which starts tonight on ITV.
The concept behind the new travel documentary was to send the two men on a journey across America taking on all manner of new experiences, and hopefully bonding along the way.
Piling into an enormous new mobile home for the endeavour, the pair muddle their way through all sorts of challenges and experiences as they make their way from Los Angeles to New Orleans in the South.
The 2,000 mile trip begins with some serious bickering between the father and son however, as Bradley struggles with his nerves driving on the other side of the road.
“Ooooh the old brakes are a bit lively aren’t they?” the 59-year-old actor starts off jovially, enjoying the excitement of the adventure.
But things quickly take a downward turn, despite Barney simply finding the whole experience hilarious.
“LA is one of the busiest cities in the world,” the narrator warns. “So for a nervous driver like Brad, it’ll be no easy feat manoeuvring a 36-foot long, nine-foot wide, 7.5 tonnes RV.”
“This is ball-breaking, this is scary,” Bradley then admits as he attempts to navigate a busy freeway.
Realising his father is dangerously wavering in between two lanes, Barney attempts to coax the popular TV star back into the right one, but unfortunately there is more drama to come.
