Most Americans “don’t care” about the Duchess of Sussex, according to AJ Benza, a former showbiz reporter from the US. The celebrity commentator added that some would be “happy” if her marriage ended.
Speaking to OK! Online, Mr Benza said: “I don't think many Americans care. I couldn't care less about that royal family stuff. I'm happy for her. She's led a fairy tale life.
“But I'd be lying if I said nobody would be happy if their union ended in divorce or some type of scandal.
“That's what Americans like, actually. We love to build up a person and help them land on this wonderful, golden perch of fame.
“And then we all point and laugh when they teeter off that ledge.”

Meghan and Harry are rumoured to be visiting the US and Canada on a royal overseas tour this year.
It comes after their hugely successful Commonwealth tour in 2018 which saw them visit Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga over 16 days.
