Carol Vorderman, 58, took to Twitter to share a clip of her and Richard Hammond’s horse Subway Surf winning at the races for the first time. The pair’s five-year-old horse, which is believed to have cost £35,000, beat off competition in her debut at Prestbury Park. Carol tweeted: “Wahoooooo... Subway Surf a winner #PartOwner @RichardHammond @kimbaileyracing.”(sic) One of her 386,000 followers replied: “Whoop whoop... thrilled for you all, looks a nice horse.”

On January 2, Carol announced she was a part owner of the horse online.
She commented: “News... I own about a leg of nice horse Subway Surf...
“(I’m not sure which leg!!)... running tomorrow in the 3.25 @LudlowRaceClub... trainer is the lovely @kimbaileyracing...keeping fingers crossed.”
