Firefighters were called to a building in Koszalin, a city in northwest Poland. The horrific incident happened in a residential building with an escape room inside. Monika Kosiec, a police spokesperson in the city of Koszalin, said the girls' bodies were found after firefighters put out a blaze in the room. Poland’s Interior Minister Joachim Brudziński said on Twitter: “A devastating tragedy in Koszalin. “Five joyful girls who were just beginning their lives have been torn from life. “May God take care of their parents and loved ones.” Poland fire: emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 5pm local time (Image: EPA) Mr Brudziński insisted fire safety controls would be enforced in all escape room across the Eastern European nation.
