Ruti Olajudbagbe, 19, won The Voice UK 2018 after beating Donel Mangena, Belle Voci and Lauren Bannon in the final.

Ruti won after receiving 58 per cent of the final public vote where she went head-to-head with Donel after Belle Voci and Lauren were eliminated.

In the final, the singer performed Daniel Bedingfield’s If You’re Not the One, Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World (which she sang as a duet with her mentor Tom Jones) and The Cranberries’ Dreams.

The latter song then became her first single, which reached 14 on the UK singles chart before dropping out the following week.
