The Walking Dead fans have been given another tantalising glimpse of the upcoming ninth instalment.
Continuing from where it left off, the second half of season nine will continue after the six-year time jump.
Fans will recall at the end of episode eight, beloved Jesus (played by Tom Payne) became the first official victim of The Whisperers.
The upcoming group are a villainous bunch, who consistently hide in plain sight by using walker skin to cover themselves.
In the last half of the season, they made their grand entrance after being teased for weeks.
It was initially believed the group were being attacked by plain old zombies, but they were horrified to discover it was real people - and the creepy scenes sent shockwaves across the fandom.
