The Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 to 2.6 million years ago during the Early Miocene era. Scientists suggest that Megalodon looked like a stockier version of the great white shark and fossil remains reveal it reached lengths of 18 meters (59 ft) with the average size being 10.5 meters (34 ft). However, an even bigger and more terrifying shark may have existed, according to a new mini-documentary.
