The Blacklist season six aired its first episode, titled Dr Hans Koehler, last week on NBC (the episode will air soon in the UK on Sky One). Dr Hans Koehler (played by Kenneth Tigar) is introduced in the episode as a plastic surgeon who has changed his identity. Kenneth Tigar, who plays Dr Hans Koehler in the episode, has recently appeared in big TV hits like House of Cards and The Man in the High Castle.
Dr Hans Koehler is played by American actor Kenneth Tigar, who has been working in showbusiness since 1970.
Though Tigar has previously had recurring roles in TV series like Dallas, the original Dynasty and L.A. Heat, the 76-year-old actor will be best known to modern audiences for his role in two big streaming services.
In Amazon Prime’s The Man in the High Castle, he plays Heinrich Himmler, who becomes the Fuhrer of the series’ Greater Nazi Reich after the assassination of Adolf Hitler (played by Wolf Muser) and the execution of Martin Heusmann (Sebastian Roché).
On Netflix’s House of Cards, Tigar plays Walter Doyle, an associate of Frank Underwood’s (Kevin Spacey) who also helps Peter Russo (Corey Stoll) when he runs for Governor of Pennsylvania.
