Can you believe Ivanka turned this HUGE career opportunity down?

Ivanka Trump began serving in her father’s presidential administration in March 2017, several months after Donald Trump, 72, was inaugurated as the 45th president of the United States. These days, the 37-year-old spends much of her time working as an an advisor to the President. Despite being employed, White House reports show that she takes no salary. Before her political role, Ivanka has explored a number of different careers.

From her time in business to her modelling work and two self-help books, Ivanka has certainly been busy over the years.

She also appeared on the small screen several times in the past, such as a stint on the US version of The Apprentice back in 2006, and a guest judging role on Project Runway in the same year.

However, in an unearthed interview, Ivanka revealed that she had been offered another chance to star on TV.

In fact, she was given the opportunity to appear in the reality TV show The Bachelorette.

However, she decided not to pursue a stint on the dating game show.

Declining the offer, Ivanka, who was thought to be single at the time, explained that she didn’t feel like it fell in line with her career objectives.

And, the advisor went on to unveil that her ambition for the future was to become a real estate developer - which, considering her current job, could come as a surprise to some.

Speaking to People in 2007, she spilled: “I’ve been offered tons of shows, (including) ‘The Bachelorette’.”

Reflecting on her decision to say no, Ivanka continued: “I’m flattered, but that in no way furthers my objective of being a great real estate developer.”

In the past, back in 2005, the mother-of-three joined the Trump family’s business, The Trump Organization - where she worked as the Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions.

Fast forward two years, and she formed a partnership with Dynamic Diamond Corp., in order to create Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry.
