Michael McIntyre’s Big Show concluded tonight with his eighth and final show of the season.
Michael didn’t go out without a bang, though, as he took comedian Alan Carr’s phone to send a text to everyone in his contacts.
As per the show’s tradition, Alan was not allowed to have any say in the text.
This prompted Michael to send a text regarding his dogs, announcing their marriage.
The text even asked the recipients to walk the dogs down the aisle, which was to be completed with wedding bells, a ceremony, and Adele officiating.
And while many of Alan’s friends responded with jokes about the text, This Morning host Phillip Schofield took the opportunity to take a cheeky swipe at Alan.
Michael prefaced Phillip’s reply by announced: “Phillip Schofield! Come on Schofe!”
He went on to announce the response which said: “‘I’d love to!
“‘Why don’t we hold the wedding in Hyde Park, then you can drink tequila and fall headfirst into the serpentine.’”
Michael then added: “‘Dot dot dot - again!’”
