#TheVoiceUK 2019: Sir Tom Jones delivers shock news for ITV bosses:

The Voice UK 2019 on ITV has beaten The Greatest Dancer on BBC for a second week running.

Both shows went head-to-head again last night, with Simon Cowell’s dance show broadcasting its second episode last night.

The Greatest Dancer sees Oti Mabuse, Matthew Morrison and Cheryl form the panel, while Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo host.

Meanwhile on ITV, Emma Willis presents, as Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs and will.i.am take their places in the hot seat.

Audiences for all channels were down on the first week of January and after the fanfare of launch

Last night’s episode of The Greatest Dancer pulled in 4.1 million viewers in the prime-time slot.

However, only just pipping it to the post, The Voice UK attracted a higher figure of 4.6 million viewers.

Despite the win, The Voice UK’s audience share was 200,000 down from last week’s average of 4.8 million.
