Nick (played by Ben Price) was revealed as the Coronation Street character who stole £80,000 of grandmother Audrey Robetrs’ (Sue Nicholls) money last week.
The Underworld factory owner has stood by and let Audrey blame recently deceased Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers) and nemesis Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska).
However, Nick will soon be caught out and after tonight’s first episode of the ITV soap, it seems he could have some ammunition to ensure his deceit is kept a secret.
After presenting his partner Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) with a lavish gift and treating Audrey to a holiday, Nick sat down with his sister Sarah Platt (Tine O’Brien).

Explaining he wanted to buy brother David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) a present, Nick asked Sarah if she had any ideas.
Nick then went on to say he felt bad for not being there for David after he was raped by Josh Tucker (Ryan Clayton) last year and was amazed David hadn’t turned violent against Josh.
However, Sarah seemed concerned when Nick brought up Callum Logan (Sean Ward), the father of her young son whose body she helped hide after he was killed by Davd’s ex-wife Kylie Platt (Paula Lane).
Questioning Nick on what he knew about Callum, Nick revealed David had told him everything, leading Sarah to believe he knew about the circumstances surrounding the drug dealers death.
“I think that’s why Josh is still alive, because once is enough and it really messed David up and me too,” Sarah told Nick.
“What do you mean once is enough?” Nick replied as it dawned on Sarah her brother wasn’t fully in the picture
