Game of Thrones fans were treated to some tantalising new footage of the HBO series this week, and almost instantly the theories and comments rolled in about what it all meant. Stark siblings Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) could be seen banding together in the scenes as they walked past statues of dead family members along with themselves. One major question was the absence of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), which could be for a number of reasons. For one thing, Bran now identifies as the Three-Eyed Raven, but also, is the trailer a foreshadowing at his fate in the final season? Initially the pair teased sometimes they lament the existence of spoiler-y trailers for their favourite films and TV shows. Eventually though, the writers shared the inspiration they’d had for the fantasy drama’s final promo - and it’s set to be an intense experience.
