Ghostbusters is getting a new sequel - set in the same universe as the originals

Ivan Reitman, who directed the original 1984 movie and its 1989 sequel, will be producing the new effort - with his son, Jason, serving as director and co-writer. The new Ghostbusters has been tentatively given a release date of summer 2020, with an exact day yet to be confirmed.

“I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans.”
