After his Golden Globes win earlier this month, Malek is the hot favourite to win both the Best Actor BAFTA and Oscar. The news shouldn’t be surprising after his performance as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody won over critics and audiences alike. And while the Live Aid recreation at the film’s conclusion is certainly a highlight, it turns out there’s another scene that was Malek’s most fun to shoot. Speaking with The Wrap, the 37-year-old actor admitted it was the last scene they shot.
Malek said: “The most fun was towards the end — there’s that scene in Rio, where Freddie is leading the audience and kind of conducting them.
“That was the last scene I shot, and I got to conduct in front of the camera, and take a bow.
“At that point, I had become extremely flexible…so my bow felt really good from take one.
