Riverdale left fans asking themselves “is Archie really dead” last night after Archie Andrews (played by KJ Apa) appeared to be lifeless at the end of the episode after being attacked by a bear. Archie fans are wondering whether he can really be dead or whether the whole thing is still part of the dream sequence that occupied much of the mid-season premiere, which UK viewers can wathc on Netflix now. The CW has not revealed whether Archie is really dead, but there are some clues that he will be back...in some form on The CW and Netflix show.
It seems unlikely that Archie Andrews is really dead in Riverdale, though his injuries did look very serious indeed at the end of last night’s episode.
In Riverdale season three, episode nine, titled No Exit, Archie was mauled by a bear in his cabin in the Canadian wilderness.
Although he tries to patch himself up, Archie is shown looking close to death at the end of the episode when he is found by park rangers.
Riverdale fans, however, should not be too worried about whether Archie Andrews is dead.

This seems good evidence that the actor will be back, but is not a guarantee.
Riverdale has always owed a debt to TV show Twin Peaks (which featured Alice Cooper actress Madchen Amick), and this season even has an upcoming episode titled Fire Walk
