Buckingham Palace confirmed the 97-year-old was not hurt. The BBC reported that Philip was driving a Range Rover and that the vehicle landed on its side after a collision. A witness was quoted as saying the Duke was very shaken.

A palace spokeswoman confirmed the Duke was at the wheel and that he was checked by a doctor afterwards.
But the palace has not confirmed if the Queen was traveling in the same car Prince Philip was driving when he crashed.
He did not go to hospital and was now back at Sandringham.
